Team Activity: Mind Training with Teacher Charlie
As Coach McKinnon prepared for the 2019-2020 lacrosse season, he wanted to try something new with the team. He knew the practices were getting the team ready physically, but knew there could be more time to prepare mentally. With the daily stresses of being a college student, Coach McKinnon wanted to help players stay relaxed and keep the game in perspective. Every tTuesday throughout the season, the team was lucky enough to be joined by , who led short workshops to keep players mentally sharp. Some had experience with meditation before and others had none, but everyone really enjoyed the weekly exercises! We are all feeling much more relaxed and focused on the upcoming season.
